Show THE permanency OF EUREKA staff correspondence eureka utah july 10 eureka the wonderful mining camp is still young while one of the oldest mining camps in utah it is merely another case of american extravagance and lack of thoroughness to assume that the vast mineral area in the tintic gintic district has approached anything like the exhaustion of old age the writer P in in conversation with numerous superintendents and expert mining men of the region talking under circumstances in which the they y felt i free to give their unbiased judgments learns that there is an unanimous con census of expert opinion that the mineral wealth yet to be obtained from the district is many many fold greater than what has already gone out to enrich the owners of properties here the centennial eureka is just now taking the lead in production but that there are many other equally valuable claims only awaiting the necessary capital to develop can scarcely be doubted even in mines such as the eureka hill the ore is found in such veins and pockets that the methods hitherto employed have uncovered the ore bodies in a very incomplete manner the men who prospected in the godiva zone were once looked upon as fools but when sufficient capital was put into this region to do the work in a businesslike business like manner it was demonstrated that the wise are not always wise in the mining business but now the faith in the tintic gintic district by all who are in position to judge is unshaken and we may expect renewed activity and a long period of prosperity for this camp twice the capital already in the district could profitably be employed capitalists would do well to consider fintics cs su superior claims A LITTLE CAMP GOSSIP john hupfer lessee at the bullion beck mine will
