irwin manager of the trade dollar company has re turned from a trip to colorado he is very much interested in the railway talk which affects this state realizing that an all era of railway building would almost certainly place some of our isolated mining districts within reach of such means of communication the mining industry being thus wonderfully der fully stimulated the south mountain district was cited as an illustration of the latent possibilities of our state that would become realities were railway facilities afforded that section mr irwin said gave every indication of being one that would be a great tonnage producer while there was not sufficient development to demonstrate the point the district would prove of exceptional value producing large quantities of lead silver ore that would bear transportation por tation railways had gone into many districts before they were much better opened and had reaped harvests from the resulting development of the mines challis
