Show COLONEL MILNERS ROAD advocate price utah maps of the proposed route of the coal belt railroad recently incorporated under the laws of utah by S B milner and associates at salt lake city and by the building of which it is proposed to develop the big coal fields to the north of price were filed with the united states land office tor for this district last saturday by the promoters of the line the maps four in number are signed by S B milner president of the proposed road and also by F P jacobs the civil engineer the line connects with the san pedro los angeles and salt lake at a point about a mile out of spanish fork from spanish fork the road will run up spanish fork canyon east to tie fork up indian creek and across soldier summit to the emmas park country to the coal mines of the milner syndicate the road as proposed is to be about eighty nine miles in length and if built will bring into market the coal product of thousands of acres of fine coking and commercial coal other than the coal traffic there is nothing at present to support the line in conversation with colonel milner that gentleman has stated to citizens of price that the line may later be built in to price from the proposed present terminus eight miles to the north of here |
