| Show THE DEATH OF P C WEBER the sudden death of colonel P C weber of ely white pine county nevada is greatly deplored by his many friends in salt lake city as well as elsewhere and in his demise the whole country has suffered an irreparable loss and one that will be keenly felt for many years to come for many years colonel weber has been identified with the material interests of white pine county and through thick and thin in times of adversity and in periods of prosperity he has ben as a bulwark of strength to the community in which he has lived for so many years there was hardly a man woman or child in western nevada who did not know colonel weber and to know him was to respect him to admire him for his many excellent qualifications for his cheerful disposition for his warm heart and all aw J i I 1 A I 1 wk COL P C WEBER for his sterling integrity and enterprising I 1 spirit on the of july last colonel weber was in salt lake city on his way home from st louis where ire he attended the democratic national convention as a delegate from nevada during his brief stay in the city he made the mining review a pleasant call as was his wont whenever he came to zion A few days later word came from ely that he had died suddenly at his home from an attack of heart disease the receipt of this sad intelligence came as a shock to his friends here who had so recently seen him in almost perfect health and in such excellent spirits and none felt more depressed over the fateful news than the mining review which for years has held the colonel in the highest esteem at the time of his death colonel weber was in his year A brother and two sisters survive him |
