| Show WITH this issue the mining review enters upon the third year of its publication during the past two years the paper has made good and substantial growth its subscription list has steadily increased until now it circulates in every mining camp in this intermountain region and thousands of copies are taken by eastern investors and those interested in the mining industry and in stock investment and speculation starting out as a 20 I 1 page publication its advertising patronage has increased to such an extent that it has twice been necessary to increase its size until now it is able to boast of twenty eight pages and the indications are that it will not be long before it will be larger still the publishers of the review realize even if there are those who do not that sall sail lake is ia destined to take rank at no distant day as being one of the greatest mining centers on the american continent that it is surrounded by some of the richest mineral sections in the world and that the mines of utah in proportion to numbers pay larger dividends and more of them than is the case in any other mining state in the rocky mountain country great and extensive as it is it is because of these facts and conditions that the review has unbounded faith in the future it appreciates what it means to represent a section cl cf such splendid mineral possibilities and it aims to be in the future what it has striven to be in the past a truthful conscientious and able exponent of the mining and milling industry of this western country giving the mining news of adjoining states as well as of utah in this endeavor we ask the continued support and patronage of those who are directly or indirectly interested in mining affairs if friends of mining will but extend their loyal support and patronage el to the review we are willing to pledge ourselves that we will give them a mining paper of which they may well feel proud a paper that will do much in the promotion of our mining int interests erets and the gaining for the mining industry of the west the recognition and prominence it so justly and legitimately deserves |
