permanency superintendent roberts reports that he has raised in the ore for about thirty feet he has been handicapped in the development of the property by the scarcity of good miners but feels confident that these stringers will furnish the key to larger and more important deposits from which the iron king I 1 can secure a commercial product jackson mcchrystal who is giving all his attention to the various mining b properties at tintic gintic which are under his management is quite confident that the godiva mine can be reopened during I 1 the present summer this property has been idle for a number of years chiefly for the reason that its ores are of rather low grade rade but the present prices of lead and silver no doubt justify the resumption of mining operations because the godiva has a large amount of low b grade rade lead silver ore manager mcchrystal says that he has for some time been in consultation with president preside nt E W packard regarding ithe reopening of the godiva mr packard is expected out from new york in the near future and upon his arrival in this state a decision will be reached preliminary operations at the keystone mine at park city have been inaugurated development will be well under way in a afew few days according to alfred frank vice president of the company the company also plans to equip its mill so that treatment of ore can be begun in about sixty days about a year ago the company erected a mill building but because of the decline in the price of lead equipment was n not ot installed now the company plans to put puit the mill in shape for concentration of the large toi tonnage Indge of low grade ores which have been developed gravity concentration will be used at first and an auxiliary oil flotation unit installed later capacity of the plant will be held beewen fifty and one hundred tons at the beginning but as I 1 larger arger torin ton tonnages ages nages of ore are opened up tip other units will be added |
