Show UTAH prospecting association the utah prospecting and mining association cia tion of salt lake has been formed for the acquisition and development of valuable property either by location purchase or bond and will engage in a general mining business the installation and operation of mills power plants placer mining and the haulage and handling of ores already the association has secured control of the nabob group in the deep creek region tooele thoele county utah in one of the richest mineralized portions of this great mining section which with the necessary advantages and facilities would soon take rank as one of the greatest ore producing sections in the west the nabob group of five claims is in clifton district close in to some of thebert the best properties on gold hill being t but one half mile west of the alvarada property of the woodman mining company and but the width of one claim distant from the cane springs group of the same company on the nabob ground there are three well defined contact fissure veins having a general strike of southwest and northeast the walls being lime and basic porphyry the width of the ledges ranging from three to twenty five feet the values run from 5 to 80 in gold silver and zinc soon after the first of the year D W macmath general manager of the company will leave for the nabob with the intention of beginning active work in its intelligent development and exploitation while contracts have already been made for its equipment at an early date with a clifford ton dry ore concentrating plant about the first of the year a parent company will be incorporated which will take over the holdings of the association the officers of the association are J E teeter president T K stevens secretary A H peabody treasurer D W macl macmath lath general manager and henry C lund general counsel |
