| Show ARIZONA florence blade tribune the first 1000 ton unit of the great hayden concentrator of the ray consolidated copper company went into commission this week and marks the beginning of a copper output in pinal final county that will extend inside of twelve months to such proportions as will make the ray consolidated mines brank rank with the leaders among the great porphyry copper producers kingman miner julian P jones who is operating the flinn ferge ferguson on properties at cerbat carbat for the imperial mining company was in kingman a few days ago bringing with him samples of the ore that showed big in lead value he reports that that ore body has increased largely near the feet level and that a ton of ore to the foot was being sent to the surface it is expected that the ore will now pay the cost of all development the increase in the value of the ore is pleasing to the management kingman miner last monday A M howat field man for the V U S smelting smelling Sm elting company and H W price arrived from the red gap mine which property they examined the latter part of last week mr howat was well pleased with the mines and especially ally with the country in which the property is situated the red gap is said to be a counterpart of the gold crown property lying in the same formation and having a vein width of somewhat less than the crown the work done on the property shows many thousands thousands of tons of ore running above fifteen dollars to the ton parker post J J casey was in town saturday showing some rich samples of ore taken from the recent strike in the coxcomb mountains twenty miles west of browns well and reported in these columns last week mr casey who is well known in bisbee globe and other parts of the southwest with his partners thos connors and william dailey bailey report having found a ledge of fine gold bearing rock between 1300 and 1400 feet long with a width of five feet samples from which average in gold per ton and 33 ounces in silver mr casey left saturday night for the property which is about twenty five miles northwest of blythe junction |
