Show DALY WEST REPORT park city company has prosperous Y yea ea and has surplus in its treasury treasur y the daly west mining company operating at park city utah h has as issued its regular annual report the report was submitted at the stockholders meeting held recently and was favorably received according to the report the company paid dividends amounting to during the year 1910 and began the new year with in its treasury to date the company has paid in dividends the report says indications encourage the prosecution of development work at several points on the lower workings of the mine which warrant the expectation of much better results started in the large ore body on the 1700 foot level showed the ore to be less in extent and value than the previous development indicate and as this level was extended westerly results were unsatisfactory the ore shoots on the 1800 aud and 1900 foot levels have been found to he be less continuous than above A large por tion of the vein on the 1700 and 1900 foot levels has been prospected and so far unproductive A raise from the 1550 foot level near the daly judge 1 ne is looking well and will open up a block of ground heretofore the 2100 foot drift west has been run in the and a crosscut will be driven to the vein when the heading is advanced some distance in september when production was curtailed and the mill run but one shift it was anticipated that under these conditions operating expenses might not be met this however has not been proved to be the case as good earnings have been made due in part to revenue derived from the leasers leaders lea sers future of the mine while developments for the year as stated above have been unfavorable there is a considerable amount of territory now being prospected upon which the future of the mine depends in a larg measure treasurer W S micks report shows receipts cash on hand january 1 1910 ore sales tons of concentrates tons of zinc concentrates cen tons of crude ore miscellaneous
