Show DALY WEST REPORT ernest bamberger general manager of the daly west at park city utah has issued his regular quarterly report as follows gentlemen herewith is submitted a report of the operations of your company for the months of july august and september 1910 showing receipts and disbursements for that period RECEIPTS ore sales tons con concentrates 2302 tons zinc concentrates tons nn ol laneous total 88 other receipts receipt little bell oon con co dividend no N 4 total disbursements general accounts dividends no 52 cash on hantl hand september 30 total on account of some lots of zinc concentrates shipped for experimental purposes and which have not yet been settled for the receipts are approximated during the quarter dividend no 52 of 30 cents per share has been paid operating expenses expense show a profit for the quarter of including the disbursement of dividend no 52 the cash balance shows a loss of in september it was decided to curtail production and operate the mill but one shift actual operating expenses will not be met under this arrangement on account of the amount of development work being carried on some additional ore has been encountered on the 1550 foot level the 1800 foot level and in various raises but altogether the development for the quarter has not opened up any large quantity of ore the 1900 foot level has intercepted the vein and drifting has been done east and west ahe ore on this level is higher grade than on the 1700 foot and 1800 foot levels but the length of the shoot as developed at present is shorter than was anticipated the 1 2100 1100 1 foot level is being extended in the of the vein and is not far enough west to cut the ore opened above |
