Show FAIRVIEW GETS SHOSHONE WATER nugget round mountain nev deputy sheriff james gushing cushing went up to the head of shoshone creek thursday morning and plugged up the water pipe which has been carrying water to the solid gold mill at the daisy mine owned by the mining company also he served an attachment on property at the daisy company to cover costs in the matter all this was in accordance with an order by judge averill of the district court wherein it is set forth that the fairview round mountain mines company had in january 1909 established its lawful right to 2465 inches of the waters of said creek the order was issued at the instance of the fairview company and is directed against the hydraulic company the daisy company the R mt water and power company and stebbins and dixon the latter mentioned companies and individuals divi duals are enjoined from ever interfering with the waters of shoshone creek until after the fairview company has first obtained the stipulated amount of water this means that the fairview mine and mill will probably begin operations again in the very near future the mill of the round mountain reduction company will also be in a position to start up in a short time by this order of the court the daisy company is not necessarily deprived of water sufficient lelent to run the solid gold mill from now on until spring there should be enough water in shoshone creek to run all of the mills mentioned and the sphinx mill as well that the fairview company is about to resume operations is a source of gratification to all those interested in the district not only will it mean the putting to work of a number of men but it will mean a big increase in the output of the camp which is the best adv the camp has ever had |
