Show THE LOW GRADE PRODUCER As a general thing it is not the high grade mine m ine which is the most staple producer and dividend payer and it is usually a mistaken notion for the mining stock investor to select mines productive of rich ore if they desire profitable and permanent returns upon their investment this statement applies to mining in general and yet an exception might be made of the mining industry where in certain sections there are more dividend payers in the high grade class than there are in properties productive of low grade ores when one looks at bingham and beholds the really marvelous methods of mining in this grand old camp he becomes impressed with the thought that no safer investment can be made than in the companies operating within its environments and the impression is a true one for the mineral wealth here in incalculable tonnage will serve to enrich generations to 0 come but what of park city of district alta and american fork the districts in beaver county and in the great deep creek district to visit these camps and districts is also a revelation and after a comparison the further suggestion qs is made that if a great low grade camp is so good almost superlatively so why is not a camp where the ore bodies are huge and all of shipping grade even better especially so when extensive developments show that these gigantic bodies of high grade graae ores go to profound depths in no other country in the world where extensive mining is carried on is there to be found so many great bodies of shipping ore as have been developed in park city and in tintic gintic district in utah and yet even our own people fail to appreciate to even realize the immensity of the deposits of rich ore in the mines of park city and tintic gintic alta american fork and other utah districts As stated in the beginning large low grade propositions should have the preference over high grade producers as a general thing but now and then conditions such as exist in utah leave but little to chose between either class and this is a condition but rarely met with in the mining in states of this intermountain region where the great bulk of material wealth comes from low grade producers |
