Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will be exemplified next Sunday evening at nt S 8 when the annual memorial memoria services in memory of the de departed departed parted members of the order will be held in the tile Salt Lake theatre by the officers and members of ot the local lodge I While these services are being conducted in Iii this city services s of a similar char character character I acter will be conducted In every town and city in the United States where there Is a lodge of the order r Where there Is I Ino no lodge and two or more members of the tho order meet on that evening they the will hold memorial services of the ritualistic i character giving up tip for a n time the thoughts thought of the day and the moment and for the time will pay pa reverence and an re rt respect respect to the memory of the dead Diversified Di Program The services to be held here will com corn combine combine bine the deeply significant ritualistic work of the order with a musical program which will call into play some of ot the best musical talent of the city Interspersed with these features will be addresses by James C Leary past exalted ruler of the local lodge and by Rabbi J C Freund of the Congregation Israel The topic of Mr Lear s address will be Our Ab Absent Absent Absent sent Brothers an eulogy lulo and Rabbi Freund will deliver the annual memorial
