Show "The Old Folks at Home." The relief society of the 20th ward, yesterday, gave the old folks a treat a substantial supper, with oil the delicacies of the season. They were conveyed to and from the eeboolhouse in wagons and carriages. The people peo-ple in tho ward sent provisions of every kind, and in great quantity. The 20th ward seems to be always getting get-ting up something to encourage the young or the agei. Wuat with their Sunday Bchool, day school, Relief society, Young Ladies' Retrenchment Retrench-ment society, their institute !or males and females, aud theological clasi, it they do not improve it is not for the want of opportunity. There was alaD a bll in the evening, even-ing, attended by tho " young folks," the proceeds for the benefit ot the poor. |
