Show Another .Nuisance. This time it is of a high-toned character, thoagh none tbe leBS agreeable for that reqeon. It wsb particularly noticeable at the last performance per-formance at the theatre, and consists in groups of mala individuals collecting collect-ing in the theatre near the entrance door and carrying on conversations in such a whisper that their remarks can be beard over half the theatre. It's wonderful to bear tbe variety of opinions and the multiplicity of topici that are aired in that place, and peraoua who attend for the purpose of appreciating the performance perform-ance are so grateful for the additional entertainment afforded by these individual, indi-vidual, and the value of seatj in that neighborhood U so much enhanced thereby, that theatre-goers would often rather forego the pleiaure of an attendance than be compelled to occupy oc-cupy tbeaeaeataOtoourse these Urge lunged gentlemen have weuae enough to appreciate the entertainments they attend, but it looks like a repetition of the dog in the manger business. It has been suggested that the performance perform-ance bo Btopped when these gentlemen commence, in order that the audiencb may have the full benefit of and not lose any of the very valuable and pro lound remarks they utter. |
