Show An Answer. Salt Lake City, April 1st, 75. E,iitor3 Herald: In reply to the inquiries of your Mill Creek correspondent, nllow me to say that qrooui corn planted within with-in twenty roils of aorguni, will seriously serious-ly injure tho quality of the molasses, during the first year of intermingling, rtnd with an increased ratio each succeeding year; and also that the quality of the broom com will also duteroate in an almost equal ratic with the sorghum. The brush will be shorter, moro brittle, and much thinner on the stalk, and instead of adhering closely to the stalk, will project out iu an almost horizontal lines and aa soon as the sap leaves tho stalk will become brittlo and easily eas-ily break a quality not at all to be sought after in broom corn. Very respectfully, J, Morgan. |
