The house deficiency appropriation appro-priation for tbe subsistence of thn army is increased by $300,000 addition, addi-tion, an aggregate of $480,000. THE HOUSE PACIFIC R. R. FUNDING BILL The house committeo on Pacific railroHtla to-day directed Representative Representa-tive Chalmers to report to the bouse, with favorable recommendation, the Pacific railroad funding bill identical in its provisions with Tburman's bill now pending belore the senate. AFTER TRAIN BOB11ERS, The postoffice department has received re-ceived a report stating that tbe officers engaged in trying to arrest the robbers who stopped the train on the Houston and Texas Central railroad and robbed the express and mails, have had a skirmish with the outlaws, who are in force.
