Show Important Literary Discovery Louisville, 1. The book for which a reward of 1,000 gold was offered by Galbourne, of Loudon, relating to i members of the royal family of England, Eng-land, has been discovered in the possession pos-session of a gentleman here. The book, which is in two volumes, was received in this city in 1S73 by a book dealer named Taylor, and was aup-, aup-, posed to have been put by mistake in a case of books ordered from London. I They were afterwards purchased by j the prest v-t owner. The book is a memorial mem-orial of George 4th, containing a minute min-ute history of all the scandalous passages pass-ages of his life. Among other matters the fact ol the marriage of King George with Mrs. Fitz Herbert is proven by letters and documents taken from the royal archives. It also testifies that a child was born to Mrs. Fitz Herbert while in lawful wedlock. |
