Show A Pioneer Gone. The numerous friends and acquaintances acquaint-ances of Patrick Lynch, Esq., will be surprised and grieved to learn of his 6uddeu demise, which occurred at his late residence in the Twentieth Ward, at half-past three o'clock yesterday afternoon. He had been unwell of inflammation of the lungs but a short time, and until yesterday he was not thought to be dangerously su. Tht deceased was one of Utah's pioneers having came here about twenty year; ago, and has ever since been one 0 her respected citizens. His friends were numbered by his acquaintances and they by thousands, for he wa frr.ni rtiiR find nf the Territory to the other. He has held and filled with honor, several important offices in the Territory, was for many years clerk of the Third District Court, and was a clerk in the Council of the Territorial Ter-ritorial Legislature for several ses: sions. We understand Patrick Lynch was, at the time of his death, forty-six years of ago. lie was born at Kos-conimon, Kos-conimon, Ireland. The funeral will be from the Twentieth Twen-tieth Ward school House, at 3 o'clock this afternoon. |
