The uiinorify report re-port of the New Yroik custom houto investigating committee submitted to the senate yesterday, dissents entirely from tho views of the majority, and adduces testimony to prove that the excessive extortions under tho general order business after it beeame a monopoly mon-opoly in the hands of Lect and Stook iug, were such that, under tho administration admin-istration of Murphy, it was a monstrous: mon-strous: abuse and a scandalous system of robbery. The report at great leng'h finds all the charges upon which the investigation was founded true; and closes by stating that no department of the New Y ork custom houso is free from the taint of demoralization entailed en-tailed by the rule of Murphy and the utter uutittedness and incompetency of those placed in high positions in the civil government.
