Tho instructions of captain Ball wero carried car-ried out last Monday, and on opening tho package Gr.nnell iound it contained con-tained three books, comprising valuable valua-ble memoranda in the fotni ot a journal jour-nal kept by captain Hali when on the King William s land expedition in search of sir John Franklin. There are also notes of various arotio explorations explo-rations from whioh he oontemplatod a book. The journals oontain much important im-portant information relative to the arotio regions known only to captain I Hall. |
