Show The Cil j Crock Mim-N. At a meeting held by the miners at City Creek, July 3rd, 187JL for the purpose of forming a District, Mr. John Houtz was called to tho chair, and Mr. M. R. Evans, appointed Secretary. On motion the District was named the Adams District. The Chairman appointed Mc-srs. James Kiskatltlen, X. P. Woods Adam M. Paul, S. D. Sirrine, and Gus Reamer, Rea-mer, a committee to locate the Imundaries of the District. Tho committee submitted the following fol-lowing which was carried by acclamation: acclama-tion: '"That the boundaries of this District bo ns follows: Commencing at Chimney Hock, on the south side of City Creek, below the saw mill running run-ning one mile fiouth, Hcven miles west, seven miles north, seven miles cast, and six miles south to the place of beginning." be-ginning." Mr. A. M. Paul was then unani-1 mously nominated for Recorder to be voted for by ballot. Messrs. Robinson, Robin-son, Walker, and Brown were appointed ap-pointed Judges and Messrs. M. R. Evans and Logan Paul, Clerks of the election. Upon the counting of ballot bal-lot for Keeorder it was found that forty-six hnd been cast. Adam M. Paul receiving forty-three, anil Win, B. Wright three. Tho mining laws of the United Slates wero unanimously adopted for this district. Messrs. N. P. Woods, Jas. Kiskad-den, Kiskad-den, S. D. Sirrine, Kufus Walker and Gus Reamer were appointed a Committee Com-mittee to draft by-laws for this district dis-trict to be submitted, on Saturday, July V2, 187.1, at 3 p.m. It was resolved that the minutes of this meeting be published in the I Salt Hako Hkkald and Tribune, The meeting was then adjourned to Julv 12th. 137a, at a p.m. M.
