Show Sai and Fatal Accident. Yesterday Yes-terday morDing Mrs. Eliza Whitehead, wife of James Whitehead who works in tho Wasatch woolen milU of Smoot A Co., went down to the creek to wash some hoses, and not returning in reasonable time search was instituted for her, when it was found that a part of the bank where she had been standing stand-ing had caved in, forcing the conclusion conclu-sion that sho had fallen in and been swept away by the stream. The search was continued, and about half a mile below where tho cave occurred, the body of tho unfortunate woman was found. What makes the matter still sadder is, as we understand, that Mrs. Whitehead was about to become a mother for the first time, and she and her unborn offspring were thus accidentally acci-dentally hurried into eternity. The funeral will take place to-day at two o'clock in tho afternoon. We cstend our sineerest sympathy to the husband thus sndlv and suddenly bereaved. |
