On the Diamond Dia-mond they are down seventy-three feet and into a solid vein of mineral over three feet wide. They are working five men on the mine, and havs about a hundred tons of ore on the dump. The mine is looking splendidly. He alo visited the Mammoth Cop-peropolis, Cop-peropolis, and considers it one of the finest mines in the Territory. There is a force of twenty-five men on it, and tac company owning it are putting up aib.-tintial buiidtng-t, in which a "warmjng" ball will be given thisweck. The district looks well, and all that is lacking is men of capital to go to work and develop the mines. For want of capital Eureka, Silver city and Diamond city arc somewhat dull, yet tho mines will pay for investment in development. de-velopment. The roads in that locality aro good.
