Show (By W. U. Tolograuh.) I ATAL I10ILEK EXPLOSION. Philadelphia, 4. The boilerof John Wood & Bro's foundry and rolling mill, at Morristown, Ponn , exploded yesterday evening demolishing half the building killing five men and, three boys and wounding thirteen, many of whom it is feared will die. Tho boys killed wero employed io the print works, 200 feet distant ' from the foundry and wero standing io the door of the prin1; factory at tho time of the explosion. Tho disaster occurred after the day hands had left and before all the night bands had arrived or the oasualities would havo been greater. |
