Show An interesting letter from Hon. Lorenzo H. Hatch, of Franklin, Oneida county, Idaho, will be found in this issue. The matter touched upon by him, relative to the action of the upper branch of the Idaho legislature, legisla-ture, in refusing to pass necessary measures, introduced by Mr. Hatch, which had passed the lower branch, we noticed was severely commented on by a correspondent of the Idaho World, who had also been a member of the legislature. It is to be hoped the representatives of tho people in that Territory may get themselves out of the misarably small shell in which too many aro encased, and adopt ideas of a breadth to harmonize with the country they inhabit. From Mr. Hatch's letter let-ter we should judgo that Idaho has j made a dcoided change for the better between tbo prosent delegate to congress con-gress and the past one. i |
