Show Tintic. A gentleman in from Tin-tic Tin-tic district yesterday gavo U3 the following fol-lowing information : Messrs. Peck, Worley & Co. have; bonded their ground on the Sunbeam j for thirty days, at a high figure. j Mtsirs. Hyde, Harris fc Co. arej about consummating the sale of their' ground al.-o on the Sunbeam, for a, . good ligure. The 0 K CoLupauy a:o working five ledges with success. On the Sunbeam two shafts are being sunk by the company; com-pany; ono on tho Grey Eagle, one on the Black Dragon, one on the Omaha and one on the York; the two latter are on Eureka Hill. The same company have been sinking sink-ing a well in Dragon Hollow, opposite Hyde's camp, and have struck water at a depth of twenty-two foot. Mr. Snyder, in sinking for the north extension exten-sion of the Sunbeam, struck what is supposed to be the same spring about four weeks ago at tho same depth, and has since CDjoyed an abundaneo of water. It ia proposed to take pipiDg from this city immediately, to carry the water from the 0 K well down to Silver city. Mr. Snyder proposes running a tunnel tun-nel through the Black Dragon hill for ono half of the locations on the hill, of which thuro are six. Tho tunnel would be about half a mile in length. |
