As nearly as can be judged, from this distance, the contest con-test .-till appears to be between Adams 1 and Davis, the former having all New England and part of New Yoik and Pennsylvania. The following are some of th-i various combinations at present on the tapis: Adams and Curtin, Davis and Curtin, Davis and Greely, Adams and Gratz Brown. Other candidates appear to be rather on the outside at present. The djle.uates from California have arrived, but the names are not given. |
