Show Bingham. A friend just in from Biugham is quite enthusiastic over the prospect for the mines now under development de-velopment in that canon. He was especially espec-ially struck with the appearance of the 'Par Excellence" vein from the very surface of chich not less than seventy-live seventy-live tons of ore, ranting in value from 340 to $275, had been taken and was being sacked. A tunnel is being run from the ravine along tho course of this vein which, oo being driven into tho hill for a distance of oOO feet, will attain at-tain to a depth of not less than 700 feet from the cropping above. The vein is large and well defined, and the ore is, at the present depth, of the argentiferous argen-tiferous galena variety. The gulch diggings in Bingham are turning out as well as heretofore, and the amount of coarse gold thus fai taken from the canon will reach one and a quarter million of dollars. |
