This is a poor business and such gentlemen (?) should curb their chicken propensities till they eau obtain the luxury lawfully. Chicken stealing is a contemptible habit which we understand is quite extensively indulged in just now in other parts of the city. These miserable thieves should be careful, this has never been a healthy country for such, gentry. Citizens, lock up your chicken coops, the days of leaving your properly prop-erly around looso are past. We have a new order of things. Civilization has come to us. |
