The family and frienda of the late James Sutphen, who died in Salt Lake j city, March 1st, desire through the medium of your journal to express their cratitude to friends generally for their kind attention to and sympathy with the deceased during the illness which caused his death. They owe an especial debt of gratitude to Mrs. Townsepd, Mrs. Appleby and daughter, Mr. Crocker and Mr. Evans, for the generous gener-ous sympathy and assistance rendered by them to the family of the deceased in their bereavement.
