The principal prin-cipal business which occupied tho attention at-tention of the First District Court, during its late session in Provo, Judge McKean presiding, related to mining matters. A difficulty having arisen in Tintic, concerning one of tho mines there, a number of men wero brought before the Court in chambers, charged with l riot, which resulted in William Shed- don, Patrick Swort and George Barry-being Barry-being bound over to appear at the nest term of court for trial, the first in $2,000, the second in $1,500, and the third in $1,000. Thos. Mack and John Ilitchings, on a cross charge of assnult, wero each held in bonds of $500 to appear on August 29th for trial in Salt Lake, choosing this city, by mutual agreement, agree-ment, as the place of trial, it being I more convenient for them.
