Murdock Morrison 1 known as Jim among the mining fra- . ternity, who has oeen afflicted with small-pox, broke from his nurse on Sunday night last, bv knocking him down, aud rushing out into the cold mountain air. Being exposed for two i hours thereto it resulted in his death at half past three this morning. No ' more known cases of small-pox in this i region.
