Show Sidden Death. A Frenchman, by the name of Paul Gassand, suddenly died on Friday, the 3rd inst., while sitting at a table in the bakery at the oorner of Railroad and Fifth streets. He came to Elko from Mountain City, where he has been engaged in the restaurant business, and where we learn he has a wife and child living. At the time of his death he was engaged en-gaged in a social game of cards with some friends, and was stricken with death while sitting in his chair and expired ex-pired without a straggle. He had previously suffered much from heart disease, and had visited Elko for his health. He was buried on Monday last in the cemetery north of town. Elko Inch, March 11. |
