Show Counterfeit Bill. Yesterday a gentleman, who has just returned from Europe and who had got a ten dollar bogus bill as part of the change of a $100 bill in Omaha, found himself in custody for passing counterfeit money, having given the bill in payment when making a purchase in town. His friends thought it a pretty heavy joke on him, while he thought it was somewhat too annoying for a joke. The bill is a counterfeit of the Central Bank of Rome, New York. Keep a sharp look out for bogus money. |
