IL Hooper, our Delegate. ; Mr. Brown was on his way from the Panacea mines to San Francisco, laving lav-ing come by coach from Pioche to this city. He speaks highly of tbe mines in that region, which, he says, are turning cut 2n0,00Oa month in -il-vcr. Pulp assays yield as much us 2sij per ton. whi' some of the ores reach as high as iiO'i to fSo i. fr is the general opinion there, that when the boundary question is settled tbe mines' will be found to be in Nevada instead of in Utah. Mr. Brown leaves this afternoon for the west. We wish him bon voyag. |
