Show REFORJI SCHOOL BOAIUJ The board of commissioners of the reform school held a meeting yesterday yester-day afternoon and organized by electing elect-ing the following officers James S Peery chairman J T Rich treasurer C R Holllngsworth secretary The accounts of the institution for April were approved Commissioner Stringham was instructed In-structed to formulate a new system of keeping the accounts It was decided to ask for bids for sites for a new industrial school building build-ing The bids should be addressed to the chairman of the board of trustees and must be m before noon on May 22 Commissioner Peery read a communication commu-nication from the governor giving a number of suggestions one being as to paroling members of the institution It provides that before a member is released re-leased on parole the parents or guardians guar-dians must agree to support him and send in a monthly statement reporting him to the board This plan was adopted and put in force the first time on a member A C Buck who was released on parole on request of his mother The matterof advertising for bids for supplies is being arranged Treasurer Rich was instructed to negotiate ne-gotiate a loan for 3000 for current expenses Adjourned until Monday next at 7 p m |
