piano parlors par-lors at No 73 West Second South street a HERALD reporter was shown through the well stocked and elaborately decorated store and reception rooms and was more than surprised to see such a large and well assorted stock of pianos and organs as without doubt there is not another like firm in the west that can equal it and very few in eastern cities which can rival I On account of Mr Jenkins increase in I business and the more than extraordinary large assortment carried he has found it necessary to enlarge the rooms and has leased another store room which connects I with the present one which gives him now 6600 square feet of floor for show and I otorage rooms taking these two rooms combined makes the largest and best I equipped musio house in the west The newly acquired room fronts South West Temple street but main entrance to it is through main store on West Second South street This room is most artistically ar-tistically frescoed and furnished with I upholstered divans and chairs for the accommodation of visitors and I will be used exclusively for the choisest makes and styles of pianos and for the reception of guests patrons and the musicloving community Mr Jenkins has just returned from a trip to Boston where he personally inspected in-spected the stock to be used in this especial room and to say that they are less than magnificent and beautiful would be preposterous He made the selection from at least one thousand of ChicKerings latest and best improved stock and was two days at the task He next visited the Everett factory and from a stock of 1500 as grand pianos as were ever manufactured he selected and ordered ord-ered two carloads to be forwarded at once The Chickering and Everetts have arrived ar-rived and more consignments will becoming be-coming in daily from now on For the next five days Mr Jenkins intends to devote de-vote his entire time until 930 p m in showing his numerous friends and the musicloving community through the immense stock and beautiful parlors He also extendsa cordial invitation to all visitors vis-itors in the city and the home people to call whether they wish to purchase or not as he takes especial
