Show THEY ARE IDENTIFIED TIle Unfortunates Who Were Killed Near Wadsworth Two of Them Formerly Resided Here and Were Employed by Messrs Train and linden In addition to what appeared in the Journal yesterday morning the coroner coro-ner has been placed in possession of facts which It is believed will lead to clear and positive identification of all the unfortunate men who lost their lives l in the recent wreck at Salvia near Wadsworth It will be remembered that the only evidence by which the coroners jury could arrive at a conclusion con-clusion as to the identification or any of them was letters and papers found in their clothing A letter from his father and mother and another from his sister in Maine led l to the identification of Frank B Small The coroner promptly telegraphed tele-graphed all the facts to the address given and received a reply from the sister claiming the body as that of her brother and at her request the body was prepared and shipped to his old home in Watervllle Maine Through the efforts of D R Gray general agent for the Southern Pacific Pa-cific company at Salt Lake city it is learned that the bodies listed as that of G A Trombo and Leroy Morris were respectively that of George AVillmott and Sherman R Wainwright The former it seems was a resident of Salt I Lake city and has a wife residing there now The letter from Mr Gray to Superintendent I Superin-tendent Whited from Salt Lake city under date of November 13 explains Itself and is as follows I For your information I would say that from conversation with parties Tiers it seems that the parties listed as I G A Trombo and Leroy Morris in the I number killed in the recent wreck at Reno Salvia are Messrs George Will mott and Sherman R Wainwright respectively re-spectively Mr Willmott was a driver for G A Trombo a confectioner of this city and has a wife here Mr Wainwright was a driver for Fred S Hadra of the Chicago Liquor company here He obtained the address of Leroy Morris before leaving the city for tIle purpose of writing to him The addresses given were Eldorado Granger and Riter Utah He was a man about 5 feet S inches in height strong bone beardless and red hair He has a sister that lives in Springfield Missouri whose address is now in possession of Fred S Hadra of the Chicago Liquor company com-pany of this city which I will send as soon as I can get It These two men went away from here at the same time intending to go to California As was stated in yesterday mornings Journal the name of the man who was listed by the jury as James A Wil llama was in fact Joseph Irwin or Irs inn who hailed from the state of New York and is supposed to have relatives residing in San Francisco From the foregoing facts it seems quite clear that all the unfortunates have been satisfactorily Identified The graves of all the men are numbered and corrections will be made by the coroner in accordance with the facts so that any of them may be easily and readily found Coroner Brown informed inform-ed the Journal reporter that he would communicate with relatives of the dead men and give them all the information in relation to the matter that he has been able to gather Reno Nev Journal |
