Show A fAX FOUND DEAD A 1VmTennLn fFarnilHjfton Dies from brink and Exposure FARMISOTOK Dec 29 1SSG Special to Tax HKJULD Wm Terman a man about 70 years of age quitted his home early Monday morning leaving his wife directions about dinner He did not return that eveningnor the next day No search was instituted until this morning when tho searching party found him at 11 oclock about two miles north of Farm ington lying on the bench in the sagebrush sage-brush with evidences that he had been dead some time Inquiry revealed the fact that be went to a saloon about two miles from here and there purchased pur-chased a quart bottle of whbky and started bacic home across the bench He probably drank more than he could manage and wandered off towards to-wards th mountains His face was badly scratched and from appearances he had died very hard The bottle was found near him with only little whisky left in it He had been formerly addicted to drinking but for the past two years had striven bardto overcome the tearful habit and had partially succeeded suc-ceeded He is spoken ot as a kindly wellmeaning man his only fault being his love for liquor He leaves an invalid in-valid wife and three children r The oroners jury returned the fo lowing verdict TEcnrrotY OF UTur KABMINOTOX IEECINCT > 13 CoDjrrr op DAVIS > I iAn i-An Inquest holden on the bench near the mouth Shepherds creek Fannington Davis County on the 2 > lh aay of December 1566 before G F Hose coroner for said county noon the body of William ferman there lying dead the Jury upon their aetna do sty that the deceased came to nil death through Intoxication and exposure ttestlmomy Wher of the said furors have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year fsKALl above writtenM M COTTERELf ED A COTTRELL Attest r JN1tOBLiS I orROSEr Coroner I |
