Show Real Estate Real estate transfers are taking place at a lively rate just now A couple of sales were made on Monday Mon-day through J K Gillespie namely Twentyfive front by 115 feet deep on Second South street the property being the place now occupied by A J Pendletons blacksmith shop Mr Pendl ton bought it from P L I Williams Esq the price paid being 2250 It is understood to be the intention of Mr Pendleton to erect a new building on the land The Congregational school committee com-mittee has purchased the property on Third South street known as i the Dr Newton property and a fine piece adjoining it also a strip running run-ning from Third East and connecting connect-ing with the rear end of the land bought on Second South street Dr Newton then purchased the house and land of Chariton Jacobs on Third South street a few rods east of the State Road The price paid was 1900 |
