Show Barned to Death. Henry W. Brizzee, of Wauship, Summit county, writes on the 2Uh, giving t!;e particulars of a tragic occurrence oc-currence which happened at that place on Thursday. Three young children, two boys acd a girl, aged respectively 5 years and 6 months, 3 years and 6 months, and 2 years eons and daughter of Wm. Wheeler, of Wanship were playing in an outhouse, out-house, wiien they accidentally set fire to the building, and tho two boys were burued to death; tho little girl made hor escape, Tho parents of the children were in this city at the time, having left their little ones in charge of a neighbor, while they came here to visit friends. Immediately Imme-diately after the occurrcnco a messenger mes-senger left Wanship for Salt Lake, arriving here iu four hours from tho timo of starting, bringing tho terrible terri-ble news to tho father and mcther. The bodies will be brought to the city to-day, and interred in the city cemetery ceme-tery on Sunday, tho funeral being conducted at the 2d ward school house. |
