I I ; " i - . i I L - ;: I I J Mr. and Mrs. Hal Edwards RODNEY EDWARDS, KARLENE REDFORD WED IN TEMPLE The St. George LDS Temple was the setting for marriage rites April 10 in which Miss Karlene Redford became the bride of Mr. Rodney Harold Edwards. Temple President Rudger Atkin officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LoVar G. Redford of Seattle, Wash., who were here for the occasion, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edwards. A wedding luncheon at the Atkin Sugar Loaf Cafe in St. George followed the marriage. Friday evening, April 17, parents of the bridegroom hosted host-ed an open house in honor of the newlyweds in the Milford LDS Cultural Hall. Standing as best man for the bridegroom was Max T. Nichols Nich-ols of Orem, and head usher was Rolland Bacon of Provo. The bride was unattended. At the open house Miss Carol Car-ol Patterson, Provo, was at the guest book; gift tables, Mrs. Edna Nichols, Mrs. Shirley Hollingshead and Miss Julye Hollingshead; in charge of refreshments re-freshments were Mrs. Thelma Gillins, Mrs. Lenore Finch Mrs. Verna Tomsik, Mrs. Si-donia Si-donia Whitng and Mrs. Beth Mellor; stereo music, Norma Edwards, and serving were Wendy Williams, Gay Boyter, Margie Finch and Patti Stoddard. Stod-dard. The newlyweds spent their honeymoon touring the Southern South-ern Utah Parks. Mr. Edwards left April 24 for U. S. Army duty in Germany, and Mrs. Edwards Ed-wards resumed her teaching duties at Frazer, Mont. She will join her husband in June. |
