They will be sealed on Aug. 5 in the Logan LDS Temple. An Open House will be held in their honor on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the Kamas LDS Church Building, 100 West Center Street, Kamas. The happy couple will reside in Logan. In case of an oversight, all friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate this happy occasion. He will work on the family ranch before heading back to Utah State University as a Sophomore majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy. SUMMIT COUNTY FAIR rRectioe Corner Lemony Bars Crust Ingredients: 1 /2 cup (1 stick) butter at room temperature 1 /4 cup powdered sugar 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 / 8 tsp salt Lemon Filling Ingredients: 1 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 /3 cup fresh lemon juice (approx. 21g. lemons) 1 TBSP grated lemon zest 2 TBSP all-purpose flour Preheat oven to 350°F and set rack to center of oven. Prepare 8 x 8 inch pan with butter or non stick spray. Crust: In a bowl beat together butter and sugar until creamy and smooth. Add the flour and salt and beat just until the dough starts to come together. Press onto the bottom of your prepared pan and bake for 18-20 minutes until lightly brown around the edges. Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool while you prepare the filling. Filling: Beat sugar and eggs until smooth. Add lemon juice and zest to mixture. Fold in the flour. Pour into the crust. Spread evenly. Bake 17 — 20 minutes or until the filling has set. Remove from the oven and place on wire rack to cool. To serve slice into squares and garnish with a beautiful dusting of confectioner's sugar. Share your favorite recipe - we would love to help you by putting it in the Summit County News.
