Helper man, 24, stopped while hitchhiking on 100 South overpass in Price. Warrants check revealed he was wanted in Dartsmouth, Mass., for alleged rape of child and allegedly contributing to the deliquency of a juvenile. Dartsmouth police said they would not extradite suspect unless he was arrested in New England area, so he was released. 2:59 a.m. Sunday. Driving while license suspended, improper registration. Barry C. Pierce stopped on Airport Road along with passenger who was owner of vehicle and cited for above alleged infractions. Officer unable to locate vehicle. 9:20 a.m. Report of vandalism on Complainant reported someone breaking out railroad warning lights. blood-alcoh- Monday. r, seize bomb A boy was arrested Tuesday for allegedly constructing a home- made bomb, according to investigating officer Dean Holdaway of the Price City Police Department. On April 30, Officer Eaton Raymond subject for a traffic violation when he discovered a stopped a homemade pipe bomb in the back seat of the vehicle. Holdaway said the bomb was constructed out of a piece of pipe 5 h inches long and thick and was a with filled homemade explosive powder with wires in the center of the pipe. He said it could be detonated by connecting an electric charge to the wires. 12-inc- and Holdaway Special Agent Jimmy C. Gober of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in Salt Lake City, have been investigating the incident. Holdaway said it is considered a felony in Utah.
