The call was cancelled when the fire department found employes were only fogging the building. Dale Smith, 1159 W. 2000 N., Layton, reported his vehicle struck at the Clearfield High parking lot. A barking dog complaint is being investigated. Jack Burton, 37, 1517 Binford, Ogden, was taken to the police department following a speeding charge. Two outstanding warrants were reported against the suspect. He was held for the Utah Highway Patrol. Officers investigated a case of assault and need for medical assistance at Clearfield High. Jay Mathews, 2631 W. 4400 S., reported $8 cash and some school supplies missing from his room at Clearfield High. E-1- DECEMBER 15, 1978 Officers assisted the Davis County Sheriffs Office with an aggravated assault suspect. Donald Nichols reported two check books and a $100 gift certificate missing. The items were later returned to him. Rex Hunt, 80 N. Villa Dr., reported $20 change taken from a building at 320 S. Main. Joseph Meibros, 603 S. 6700 W., Ogden, and Mike Hopkins, 1644 E. 800 S., Clearfield, were victims of an apparent hit and run accident at Clearfield High. A runaway juvenile called the police and was turned ova the Division of Family Services. She was placed in a foster home. Dave Pacheco, 18, 549 Kirk, Layton, was issued a misdeameanor citation following a charge of possible theft from Building The case involves a $60 electric drill. G-1- 2. Bar checks were made at Jimmies Lounge and Lews Supper Club. DECEMBER 12, 1978 Rita Bronson, 809 N. 250 W., reported $1213 worth of items taken in a burglary. Included were an 8 track unit, ski equipment, a portable television and an afghan.
