Warmath, whose Gophers were defeated in the Rose Bowl this year, was selected as the outstanding major college coach, while Woodson, who guided his .Aggies through an undefeated season including a Sun Bowl victory, was voted top honors among small college coaches. THE RESULTS were announced at the American Football Coaches Assn. (AFCA) , banquet. The event marked the first time that both the large end small college coaches were honored.
