Students taking part in this program included Doyle Norton as Ebenezer Scrooge, Edwin Thatcher as Bob Crachet, Jackson Marvell as Fred, Theron Clark as the solicitor, Alice Lacy as Morleys Ghost,- Gayle Mead as the Ghost of Christmas fast, Augustina Flores as Ebenezer the child, Colleen Ericson as Fran, Jana Powell as Fezziwig, Dale Bradley as Ebenezer the young man, Eleanor Bergeson as Bell, Deen Ann Dause as the Spirit of Christmas present, Linda Christensen as Mrs. Grachet, Anice Rich as Peter, Pat Tryon as Mare tha, Helen Roybal as Dick, Thayn as Tom, Darlene Swa-se- y as Tiny Tim, Brenda Olson as Peg, Elaine Manzanares as Spirit Three, James Lewis and Gilbert Sandoval as business men, Ralph Moosman as a young boy. Announcer for the play was Miss Shirley - Gay-len- Green. Members of the Wellington First a Christmas fun night, December 22, in the church recreation hall. During the afternoon of that day, ' a childrens dance and fish pond were held, a food sale was held beginning at 5 p.m. and at 7 in the evening a delightful Christmas program was presented, with numbers being furnished by the different ward organizations. The Sunday school presented a delightful skit entitled Silver Bells," followed by two Christmas carols sung by the choir. The Christmas Story was charmingly told by the girls of the Primary Lark class, and the Guide Patrol and Seagull girls sang a Christmas song. The Relief Society presented a clever little play, The Tale of the Trousers, and Charles Bradshaw sang O Holy Night. A little musical fantasy, "Toyland, was presented by the Mutual Improvement Association, Carol and Wayne Hanna'sang and Walking In A Winter played Wonderland and Im Dreaming of a White Christmas. The final 12 Reserve District No. of the Condition of Report Charter No. 6012 ' ft ' f great dramas. This very talented group has made presentations in other places throughout the state and has been highly praised by all who have seen the production. It is felt that this is really a treat for Carbon county to have these people give of their time and present this outstanding performance free of charge to the public. These two are among the 7500 highest scorers in a nationwide college aptitude examination given to 162,000 seniors in 12,500 high schools on October 24. Finalists now face a stiff three-hou- r college board examination on January 12, plus intensive screening of their leadership and extracurricular records by a selection board. At stake are more than 700 four-yecollege scholarships. Mr. Jewkes is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mont K.
