The route a approved will be from Kama, along the Beaver creek. Joining the Provo river at the mouth of fihlngle creek and proceeding to its head along the north side of the river. Tio alternative route, which wa rejected, followed the Provo rivetlrom Kama to the head of the river. Ths road will be shortened, by the adoption of the Beaver creek route, some three miles, but there will be at least four additional mile of road to construct. The four mites from Kama eastward to the national forest boundary will be constructed by Summit county, while from that point the federal government wiQ build it forest highway, an initial appropriation of $2h.S6S having been made. Surveyor began work yesterday. The Beaver route has advantage in that it will devekp a greater timber supply than the rejected route, and will be a shorter road. It is estimated that 160,606,000 board feet of lodgepold timber will be opened up, or about 6,660,006 board feet annually.
