Fife, a bride of the month- An eight oclock luncheon was served at four small tables gay with vases of rose buds. Bridge games followed luncheon and Miss Marie Holland won high score favor. Mrs. Fife was given a lovely guest prize. Those attending were Misses Kathleen Bowen, Marie Holland, Glenna Anderson, Delta Harper, Elaine Roberta Ward, Alice Harris, Dorothy Law, and Mrs. June Hansen, all of this city, and Mr3. Milton Meecham of Salt Lake City and Miss Ruth Allen of Ogden. Ko-foe- d, June Luncheon Mrs. Vernal Harris and Mrs. Albert Noall presided at a prettily arranged Garden Party IN SOCIETY In a charming garden setting the Couple Wed Wednesday A lovely June wedding was solemnized Wednesday evening at the Zundel home in this city when Miss Jeanette Mclntire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Mclntire of Corinne, became the bride of Glen Zundel, son of Sheriff and Mrs. John H. Zundel of this city. The ceremony was performed at six oclock Ty County Clerk C. Henry Nielsen In the presence of the immediate families. Le-O- ra Nuptial vows - were exchanged In front of a bower of roses and the living rooms were decorated with a profusion of garden blooms. The bride was charming in a cream colored lace gown with brown accessories. She wore a corsage of roses and gardenias- - Mrs. Carl Hansen was matron of honor and Shirley Wight Acted as best man. A prettily arranged dinner followed the ceremony, attended by members of the two families and close friends. The table was centered with pink tea roses and pink candles in crystal candelabra burned at each end. 2be bride is a graduate of the "Box Elder high school, where she was active in school activities and for the past few years has been employed at the Baron Woolen Mills and the Grill Cafe in this city. The groom has been employed with the Southern Pacific railroad company for the past nine years and 3s stationed at Bakersfield, California, At the present time. The young couple will leave Saturday for the California city where they will make their home. annual summer party of the Civic Improvement club was held Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. James E. Halverson on South Main street. Over fifty ladies attended and spent the afternoon playing bridge, which was preceded by the serving of a cold luncheon. The tables were arranged on the cool, spacious lawn, and the many lovely garden flowers and shrubs formed a picturesque background for the ladies in their colorful, summery gowns. An attractive flower motif of pink and green was carried out in the table decorations. Miniature rose arbors with blooms entwined through the lattice centered each serving table. The favors were tiny candy dolls and baskets filled with white flowers. Mrs. C. V. Forsgren, president of the club, acted as hostess, and Mrs. Milton E. Jensen was chairman of general arrangements, with the following ladies assisting: Mrs. Mary Pearse Owens, Mrs. Harold B. Felt, Mrs. James Barker, Mrs. E. H. Marble, Mrs. Fred Holland, Mrs. Frank Earl, Mrs. Zenos Earl and Mrs. Dewey Ashcroft. During the afternoon prizes were awarded to Mrs. Theron B. Lee and Mrs. C. A. Munns. Annual Social Held June bridge luncheon given Wednesday afternoon at the Noall residence on Fourth East street. A one oclock luncheon was served at six small tables and bud vases of June roses were chosen for the centerpieces. Garden blooms adorned the living rooms. Prizes for bridge games were won by Mrs. Howard Call and Mrs. Ferd Kroksh. No-Ho- st Bridge Luncheon The Ree Dee Lers club members enjoyed a bridge luncheon Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Howard Call in this city. A delicous supper was served to twelve bidden guests seated around a huge bonfire. Games followed supper and a delightful evening was enjoyed by all attending.
